Having problems getting my slot Car Track to run again ?
Hi I have a slot car track that I had put away for maybe 2 years and I set it up the other day except it doesn’t work now like the only way the cars will run is if you push on them at the beginning and even then they only run for a very short portion of the track and then just stop I’ve tried cleaning the track and the cars but neither seems to really help too much any help is appreciated!

Hmmm… cleaned the track and cars, but still not working 
I’d check all the connectors between sections of track. I’d also get out a volt-meter and check along the road-way.
You CAN test the cars themselves by running wires directly from the power-pack to the pick-up shoes on the cars…. OR to the motor itself.
